Web site https://autorental.ba/ is owned by Autorental d.o.o Sarajevo which respects the privacy of the visitors of its websites and cares for keeping their information data. With that in mind, this Privacy policy is made and it pertains only to actions on the internet pages owned by Autorental d.o.o. Sarajevo. Gathering, keeping and transferring personal data is done in accordance with the Law on personal data protection of BiH (Official gazette of BiH number 49/06, 76/11 and 89/11) regulating the protection of personal data, their transfer and preventing unauthorised access and use of personal data.
This Privacy policy explains how we will handle any personal data that you give us or that we acquire from you. Read this Privacy policy carefully because they affect your legal rights.
This notification may be added upon or updated in order to clarify changes in our practice when it comes to processing personal data or changes in the current law. We recommend that you carefully read it and regularly check this page in order to follow changes that we eventually may make in accordance with this notification.
2. Method of collecting personal data
We may acquire your personal data: directly from you, when you publish your personal data, when you download, install or use any of our apps, when you visit our webpage, when you register for using our webpage, app or service, when you cooperate with any third party whose content or ads are present on our webpage or apps. 3. Personal data we can process
We can process your personal data, demographic data, your contact data, notes from your consents/approvals, information on our websites and apps, information on your cooperation with our content or ads. Any kind of opinion you have on us is important to us.

Content and data from ads: notes on your visits to our online ads and content, notes on ads and content shown to you on our websites or apps and any kind of interaction you might have had with such ads or content, including hovering or mouse clicks, any kind of form you fill out (including forms which you don't completely fill out and finish) and any other interaction on screen that is touch sensitive.
Opinions and attitudes: any kind of opinion that you express and/or send to us, or public posts to us on social media.
4. Data processing
We process data in accordance with the law on personal data protection of BiH, according to article 4 (Principles of personal data processing), which states:
The controller shall be required to:
a) process personal data fairly and lawfully;
b) process personal data collected for special, explicit and lawful purposes in no manner contrary to the specified purpose;
c) process personal data only to the extent and scope necessary for the fulfilment of the specified purpose;
d) process only authentic and accurate personal data, and update such data when necessary;
e) erase or correct personal data which are incorrect and incomplete, given the purpose for which the data are collected or further processed;
f) process personal data only within the period of time necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose of their processing.
g) keep personal data in the format that allows identification of the data subject for not longer than required for the purpose for which the data are collected or further processed;
h) ensure that personal data that were obtained for various purposes are not combined or merged.
5. What data do we process and for what purpose?
The purpose of our webpage and social media is engagement and interaction with users and visitors of our portal and social media. We publish news, reports, video content and other content on a daily basis.
Our social media channels ensure that we get statistics on visits to our web page and the number of visitors. We collect this data and it enables us to manage our media content in a more effective and focused way. On that note, we may occasionally get information on profiles of certain users which like our social media pages and/or use the app on our page. That enables us to publish better content and make the app more functional to relevant users through our webpage and social media.
To improve our content even more, we also use information acquired through visits to our webpage and social media to conduct demographic and geographic analyses based on that information. As a result, we can publish certain ads based on the interests of those users without directly knowing their identities.
All the acquired data on our visitors are forwarded to us exclusively in anonymous form. We do NOT have access to detailed data.
6. Processing personal data
We have the right to process your personal data in cases where you: clearly gave consent earlier; when the processing is necessary for the contract between you and us; when such processing is necessary by law; when such process is necessary for the purpose of protection of vital interests of any person or when we have valid and legitimate interest for processing.
7. Deleting user data
Autorental d.o.o. will, per request of data owner, correct, delete or block data which proves to be falsely stated or processed in a way contrary to law and rules on data processing. If you ask for deletion of data, Autorental d.o.o. will delete the data, also on request of data owner notify the third party which might have the data on the deleting of the data.
All data is stored and protected carefully and you can ask us to delete it or to anonymise it at any time. You can ask us to delete it through regular mail or e-mail. This data can be found in the section Contact data.
Autorental d.o.o. keeps the personal data until recall, logout or request for deletion in accordance with law regulations.
8. Service providers
Autorental d.o.o. uses various service providers and technologies of third parties (e.g. Google, Facebook etc) which help us to provide services related to Autorental d.o.o. Some companies which help us provide services are out of the European Union. We allow that only in case we are satisfied with the level of security we provide in data protection. When you give us your data, bear in mind they could be transferred, saved or processed on a location outside the EEA, in countries which do not provide adequate measures proposed by BiH or EU legislature.
We provide summary statistical data and insights which help people and companies understand how people react to their posts, offers, pages or other content on Autorental.ba and outside of it.
9. Sensitive personal data
We do not want to collect or in any way process your sensitive personal data. In case we have a need to process your sensitive personal data in a legitimate manner, we do it in accordance with the Law on protection of personal data of BiH (Official gazette of BiH number 49/06, 76/11 and 89/11).
10. Why we may process your data
The purposes why we may process your personal data, according to the Law on protection of personal data of BiH (Official gazette of BiH number 49/06, 76/11 and 89/11) are as follows: giving services to you, journalism purposes, managing our pages and apps, communication with you, conducting polls, conducting investigation where necessary, being in accordance with laws, improving our pages, apps and services.
11. Revealing personal data to third parties
We may reveal your personal data to: lawful and regulatory government; our outside consultants; our processors; any party if necessary regarding legal procedures; any party if it is in the interest of investigation, discovery or prevention of a crime; any buyer of our business; any third party which provides advertising, add-ons or content used on our webpages or locations.
We may reveal your data to any person within Autorental d.o.o. Sarajevo, for legitimate business purposes (including managing our page and apps, as well as providing services to you), according to the law.
If we employ a third party – a processor for processing your personal data, they will be the object of binding contractual terms which envisage the processing of personal data in accordance with our previous instructions in written form, and will have to stick to measures of protection of confidentiality and security of personal data, along with additional terms according to the law.

Processing your personal data may include automatic decision making, including profiling/formatting data for personalizing content and geographic content.
13. Transferring data abroad
We can transfer your data abroad exclusively in accordance with the propositions of article 18 of the Law on protection of personal data of BiH (Official gazette of BiH number 49/06, 76/11 and 89/11).
14. Delivering objections
You have the right to deliver objections to the activities of data processing by Autorental d.o.o. to the Agency for personal data protection of BiH (AZOP BiH). If you are located in EU, you can deliver your objections to the responsible regulatory bodies for personal data protection in EU or AZOP BiH.
15. Data security
In ensuring the security of data we strictly abide by article 11 lines 1, 2 and 4 of the Law on protection of personal data of BiH (Official gazette of BiH number 49/06, 76/11 and 89/11). We implement adequate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data. Please, ensure that the data you send us is delivered safely.
The data we acquire from you is kept in bases operated exclusively by Autorental d.o.o. Sarajevo.
We will implement all necessary steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy policy. Unfortunately, data transfer over the internet is not 100% safe. We will take all necessary steps to protect your personal data, but we can not absolutely guarantee the security of data you send to our pages; any transfer is done on your own risk. When we accept your data, we will use strict measures and tools to prevent unauthorized access to data and secure it as much as possible.
We have implemented adequate technical and organizational safety measures designed to protect your personal data during accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, change, illicit publishing, access or other unlawfull or unauthorized forms of processing according to the law.

We undertake any reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data, that we process, is processed only up to the level necessary regarding the reason defined in this policy.

We will undertake all reasonable steps to ensure your data is kept only as long as it is necessary, according to the article 4 and article 16 of the Law on protection of personal data of BiH (Official gazette of BiH number 49/06, 76/11 and 89/11).
We will undertake all reasonable steps to ensure your data is processed through a minimal period necessary for the reason explained in this policy.
19. Your rights
Under the current law, you have your rights, such as the right to: not give us your personal data; access your personal data; request a correction of incorrect data; ensure that your data is deleted or processing is limited; appeal to its processing; request its transfer to another controller; recall your approval; appeal to the competent institution for protection of personal data. We may request from you that you give us evidence on your identity before we accept your rights.
20. Social media
Where it is legal according to the Law on protection of personal data of BiH (Official gazette of BiH number 49/06, 76/11 and 89/11), we may use certain limited personal data about you to share with platforms of social media and other networks such as Facebook or Google for the purpose of generating potential buyers, attracting audience to our website or other ways of promoting our services or Autorental d.o.o. Sarajevo in general. These activities are based on our legitimate interest for marketing activities, so we can offer you services that can partially be in your interest.
Autorental d.o.o. Sarajevo does not control or supervise social media with whom we can share your personal data. All the questions about the way these platforms process your personal data, you should address to them.
